New leadership for CAPTAIN
Twin Bridges member CAPTAIN Community Health Services is transitioning to new leadership as Andy Gilpin, Executive Director, steps down from that role and is replaced by Scot DeMarco who has served on CAPTAIN’s Board of Directors since 2020. As Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee, he has helped guide the organization through a period of substantial growth. Andy will transition to Director of Strategic Services where he will continue to play a key role in shaping CAPTAIN’s next chapter.
Central to that next chapter will be “Building Better Futures,” CAPTAIN’s new capital campaign aimed at transforming how human services are delivered in our region. The campaign centers on the purchase of the former Shenendehowa Administrative building which will be repurposed as a Community Engagement and Resource Center. The new center will allow clients to access resources in a coordinated way.
A longer article about this transition appeared on Clifton Park Neighbors and this is currently available on CAPTAIN’s Facebook page.
