Donation for the Y’s Running Start

Thor Lampman of the Southern Saratoga YMCA accepted a $500 donation from Twin Bridges President Maria Sorriento at a July 29 TBR meeting. The money will go to the Y’s Running Start program which provides children with backpacks full of school supplies, new clothes and sneakers. For some, these are the first new clothes they get to call their own. The confidence this gives each child is priceless. TBR also offered to provide labor to help fill the backpacks.
